Secure your sensitive documents with the CD228P Cross-Cut Paper Shredder, a powerful and reliable solution built for home offices, small businesses, or personal use.

Key Features & Benefits

  • High Security Cross-Cut Shredding
The CD228P shreds paper into fine pieces (approximately 4 × 35 mm), meeting P-4 security standards — ideal for disposing of confidential documents like financial statements, legal papers, medical records, etc.

  • Generous Sheet Capacity
Capable of shredding up to 12 sheets of standard (80 g/m²) A4 paper in a single pass, the CD228P handles moderate workloads with ease.
  • Multimedia Destruction
Beyond paper, this shredder can also destroy credit cards, CDs/DVDs, and other similar media — making it an all-in-one device for secure disposal.
  • Efficient & Safe Operation
With a shredding speed of approximately 2.0 m/min (or 2.2 m/min in some datasheets) and a feed width of 220 mm, it’s built for smooth, steady shredding.
  • The machine supports a continuous runtime of 3 minutes, followed by a 30-minute rest period to protect against overheating.
  • It also includes motor overload protection and an automatic shutoff in case of jams or excessive load.
  • Spacious Waste Bin & Transparent Design
The CD228P comes with a 25 L waste bin capacity (about 6.6 gallons), giving you plenty of room before needing to empty. A handle on the shredder head allows easy lifting to empty the bin.
  • User-Friendly Controls & LED Indicators
The top panel features a slide switch with modes Auto / On / Off / Reverse to handle normal shredding, jam recovery, and standby states. LED status indicators help you monitor power, overheat conditions, and bin full status.
  • Compact Footprint & Design
With dimensions of about 360 × 244 × 464 mm (L × W × H), the machine fits neatly in home offices or workspaces without taking up too much floor area. The thickness and build offer a robust presence while maintaining a manageable profile.
  • Certifications & Safety Standards
The CD228P is often CE / EMC / ETL certified, ensuring compliance with recognized safety and electromagnetic standards.
